THE ART OF SELF-LOVE
WITH THESE SIMPLE STEPS…
From my own experience, I decided to make this post. This will be one of my personal resolutions for this year so I wanna help you also to be able to love yourself. This does not mean that you will be selfish or narcissistic but instead, you will appreciate yourself and will be able to love others also. How? These simple steps will show you…
1. Be confident with what you have
Learn to know what you have, not your savings or other material stuff, but what is in you like your CHARACTER. Acknowledge the GOOD and BAD in you. And love them both! If you want to learn to become a better person in the future, it will be awesome for you!
2. Be yourself
Do not, I repeat… Do not try to imitate other people. Just be yourself! Are you a nerd? Quirky? Weird? Accept it! And show it to the world! Everyone is created to be unique. Not being the same with one another.
3. Forgive yourself
In your life, there will be goals that you want to achieve. And most probably there will be obstacles to get there. If ever you cannot achieve your goals, do not blame yourself. Because it won’t help you to move forward.
4. Show your feelings
When you feel sad or happy, show it! Do not suppress your feelings because other people won’t know what you want or what you feel when they do certain things. Most important is when you feel angry, do not express your anger like some kind of volcano eruption but explain why you are angry.
5. Pamper yourself
People will know if you love youself enough or not from how you treat yourself. Try eating healthy more and drink more water to make your skin flawless and radiant (at least that’s what I do!), doing exercise to maintain your figure (and to make it toned also!). Anyways do what makes you happy. When you do that, your body will appreciate you and people also will notice.
6. The last thing is everything comes from your mind and heart.
People will know if you are happy or not when you let yourself feel that way. Happiness always comes from your heart. Don’t let others influence you or change your feelings. Keep in mind that YOU are the one in charge of your happiness!
